Think you are the top tickler?

Tickle those ivories that is! The Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto is proud to launch the First Music Festival in recognition of youth, which kicks off with CCC Piano Competition 2010 (Canada) to be held from February 20 to March 5. This celebration gives youth the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in the performance and knowledge of classical music as some of the winners will perform at the Award Ceremony & Gala Concert scheduled for May 15, 2010 in CCC’s state-of-the-art P.C Ho Theatre.

Contestants can challenge their music talents in a variety of about 80 classes which will be judged by a distinguished panel of jurors including renowned pianist Marietta Orlov. She will be joined by other great musicians, who will be judging, from Glenn Gould School, The Royal Conservatory of Music, and the University of Toronto. One winner will receive a $1000 award as most talented in the Artistic Division!

Deadline of application is December 10, 2009.
